Platform
One process. Every department connected.
Bolisa is a connected freight forwarding TMS that brings your sales, shipment operations, and financial processes together. From quotation to financial closure, the objective is to keep information connected as the work moves forward.
The connected process
Quotation
Inquiries arrive as lanes, from a single shipment to a full tender. Pricing answers each lane from your rate library, and sales issues the quotation with revisions tracked.
An accepted quotation becomes the offer your bookings are made against.
Shipment Operations
One file per shipment carries freight, customs clearance and trucking, with each stage, owner and follow-up visible to the teams that need it.
Costs are recorded on the file as the work happens, against the vendor who did it.
Financial Closure
Vendor payments, customer invoices and receipts are reviewed on the same file. It is ready to close only when operations, costs, customer review and invoicing are complete.
What was quoted, done, paid and billed stays connected for reporting.
Where the work connects
Each handover below happens inside Bolisa, on records the next team already sees.
QuotationOffer
Accepted quotation options convert into customer offers, carrying the lane, carrier, charges and validity.
OfferShipment file
A booking made from an offer keeps the terms the offer fixed, such as the ports, carrier, incoterm and containers.
Shipment fileCosts
Cost lines are priced from the matching rate or offer charge and carry the vendor who will be paid.
CostsVendor payment
Payment requests and cash advances pay the cost lines on the file, and each line shows how it was paid.
CostsInvoice
Invoices and debit notes are generated from the file’s uninvoiced cost lines, per bill-to party and currency.
InvoiceClosure
The file shows what still blocks closure until operations, reviews and invoicing are complete.
The same file, across departments
1Sales issues the quotation from priced lanes; the customer accepts it.
2Operations runs the shipment booked against that quotation’s offer, stage by stage.
3Finance invoices the same file and records what the customer has paid.
Required steps and controls
Controls are part of the workflow, so important details depend less on memory and informal handovers.
- Stage by stage
- Freight and clearance move through defined stages for each mode and direction, with dates recorded at each step.
- Priced from your rates
- A cost line takes its price from your rate library. A typed price needs a reason, or applies only when no rate matches.
- Review before finance
- Each service is reviewed by documentation, operations and finance before its costs are treated as final.
- Nothing closes incomplete
- A file reaches Ready to Close only when operations, cost review, customer review and invoicing are complete. The file lists anything still open.
- Corrections leave a trail
- An issued invoice can be cancelled only within a set window. After that, a credit note corrects it.
- Access by role
- What each person can see and do comes from permission groups and roles, checked on the server.
